🌊 Yeagarup Beach Clean-Up 2026 – Sunday 18 October
Every year, a wonderful group of volunteers heads out with us to help care for one of the most remote stretches of coastline near Pemberton.

This year our annual Yeagarup Beach Clean-Up will be held on Sunday 18 October, with some volunteers arriving from Friday and making a weekend of it.
Yeagarup Beach may feel wild and isolated, but it is certainly not immune from rubbish. Marine debris, fishing rope, plastics, bottles and other material regularly wash ashore or become caught along the beach, dunes and river mouth.
In previous years, volunteers have removed extraordinary amounts from this coastline — including around one tonne of debris and more than 2,000 individual items each clean up!
Guests can either travel onboard with Pemberton Discovery Tours, subject to available seats, or tag-along in their own vehicle.
It is a great opportunity for people to experience an incredible part of their own region, learn more about the impact of marine debris and take part in practical conservation work.
The main clean-up is approximately five hours and participation is free.
So, we would love to hear from anyone else who would like to volunteer and join us for the day — or make a weekend of it.
